Welcome to my little piece of the web and yeah, that’s my crazy face…
This is where I share some of my experiences and my findings. I hope some of what you will find here can bring value to your life or maybe it can make you laugh a little. Maybe you just want to kill some time on not so important things, too!
Mainly, my blog talks about business ventures, concepts or ideas. For the past 15 years, I’ve been launching start ups. All those (mostly failed) projects, gave me tremendous amount of experience and insights. The end results of all my endeavours is what I’m seeking to share with you guys.
I cannot talk about business without talking about marketing leading to sales. One of the most important lessons I got from all my experiences is that no matter how good your idea or product is, it won’t make a difference if you don’t have good communication and marketing strategies.
Another important lesson that I had to learn was that to be successful, you need to overcome your biggest obstacle, YOU. Before I go any further, I feel the need to express my view on success. To me, success is a subjective term. So when I talk about success, you need to interpret it has YOUR definition of the concept. I know in our society, money = success, but I not only find it wrong, I find it perversely wrong. The correlation of money and success, to me, is that you need money to be successful, but having money doesn’t make you successful. In other words, money is only ONE variable of the success formula. It’s not the only one and (subjectively) not the most important one. A little bit like some people tend to say that money doesn’t buy happiness. It’s not totally accurate. While it’s true that your are not proportionally happy to the amount of money you have, you still need more than the bare minimum to feel whole and happy. So in a way, money is part of the “being happy” puzzle but it certainly is not the biggest piece of it. In my humble point of view anyways. I might share, from time to time, some personal growth lessons I learned along the way.
I’m also a Techno-freak. I got my first computer when I was 4 years old, and I’ve been playing with the hardware and software ever since. I know computers very, very well, inside and out, and I really love everything you can do with chips and cpu’s. I find fascinating that in this time in history, something like the Arduino and the Raspberry Pi are available to make it really easy and cheap for people, young and not so young, to learn computer skills, build simple automation tools or amazing and complex robots.
I currently build websites for a living. I’ve done many, many… many other things in my life that I might share here from time to time. When people talk to me, they often say that I explain things very well. I never really took the time to share much over the Internet, mainly because I was so busy with the ton of projects I was involved in. I now wish to take the time to focus more on building online courses about business, marketing and the web. As part of that process, I am using this blog to reach out to people like you who would like to learn how to start their own business and quit their job.
I am looking forward to help you as much as possible on your journey to freedom and happiness.
Feel free to get in touch with me, it’s easily done right here.
